The Comeback

Who misses the former tennis players? Who wants to see old tennis professionals making a comeback into the new age?  What about McEnroe, Agassi, Li Na coming back?

 The challenge is here. The fabulous Kim Clijsters is making a come back in 2020. The Belgian professional won the US Open in 2009 after giving birth to her first of three children. I’m excited to see what Clijsters will bring to the table. Do you think Kim will use the same playing style she once had?

 Women change on a daily. Men are more consistent with their record. On the women side, anyone can win a grand slam on any given day. What does that mean for tennis?

 Tennis used to be finesse and touch, but now it’s about power. Tennis used to have the skinniest girls. The only thing that matters is what you believe. Thanks, tennis. Thanks for making it fair for us all. Now we can serve and volley, slice, etc. What is the future of our sport?

 Kim coming back is a great thing. She is allowing women to live traditional lives and do what they love. It gives me hope to know I can step away from something and return. Is there anything you ever walked away from that you wanted to return too?
